AKORA Resources (ASX: AKO) – Bekisopa Iron Ore Update

AKORA has confirmed high-grade iron ore mineralisation extending beyond its known resource at the Bekisopa project in Madagascar. An exploration program covering 1.5km² with 8 trenches and 365 samples revealed direct shipping ore (DSO) at surface level in a previously undrilled zone between the existing south and central resource areas.

Standout results included intercepts of 87m at 60.5% Fe and 36m at 63.8% Fe, pointing to strong continuity and scale potential across the deposit. MD Peter Bird highlighted the findings as validation of geological continuity and a boost to mine life potential.

Next step: results are being forwarded to Wardell Armstrong International for an updated mineral resource estimate.
